Back by (popular?) demand...

Well I took out this thread since I only had one person who responded to it...thought it was boring everyone.
The latest...as I was approaching Wendy's yesterday, one of the employees (who I had asked permission to dd of before) saw me and stopped her car as she was leaving, poked her head out the window and proceeded to regale me with a 10 minute explanation as to why they now only had the large size cups now (hurricane... delivery...only one case left...etc. etc.) like she was apologizing. Actually, I got a pretty good haul there.

You know, now that Cody and Meah and Shannon are here, AC, AA and AB are REALLY GAA, GAC and GAB. Hmmmm. That's better than GAG or GAK or GOB, right?

The Quilt I made for Cody.....

Mom told me his room was decorated blue and red with cars......so I went out and bought race car material and frogs (just because little boys like frogs and other things like that, right?) and experimented around with the material first (have to do that)...the only problem is I ended up using most of the material up....so I went back to the fabric store....and they were out of the race car material (which I don't blame them-it was pretty cool stuff)....now all they had with cars on them was Jeff Gordon stuff. Whoever he is, right? I figured, hey, he must be a pretty good race car driver if he has his own fabric. So I bought it. Plus some really nifty fireman stuff they had just because it was cool and had a blue background with red fire hydrants........






What mom neglected to tell me is that Chad DESPISES Jeff Gordon.

Whoever he is, right? ;)

Okay Y'all, don't flip out at me about the time.

Just think of it this way...you'd get up early to catch a flight to see family members....except this is just a short drive away, PLUS you don't have to fix and eat breakfast before you leave! Just rolla outta bed, run a brush through your hair (Please! AA!) and drive on over.....

To Grandma's house because Christmas with the whole extended family is at 7:30 in the morning Dec. 23rd. Since the grandkids aren't giving gifts to each other, it should actually be a pretty short affair (are the aunts/uncles giving gifts to each other still? AC-u can use newspaper to wrap your cyber gifts with!) (wait-the "aunts/uncles" are slowing turning into the "great aunt/uncles"!!!)

Brunch at Grandma's after gift opening. AC and fam are gonna hit the road to do their two day trip back. Jim and I are gonna hit the sack because we'll have driven through the night.

Comments, complaints, anyone? This is the best we could do to get everyone together because of increasing time/schedule conflicts with everyone growing up, getting jobs and moving away.

movie recommendation...

I don't like movies that much; rather have my nose in a book. But if you want a good flick, order National Treasure (on line through CARL) from your friendly neighborhood library. It is a great Indiana-Jones type movie, about a treasure hunt with a founding fathers twist. It's the best movie I've seen in a long time.
