This is a work in progress. Please feel free to vocalize and direct. Just pretend it's picnic on Grandpa's land: all hands on board?? YES!!! (and a few sticky ones too I might add) ;)

All the MA's switched shifts this weekend, so D stayed up all night last night in preparation for his first shift on mids (tonight). Apparantly so did the cat. I tried to get a shot where they were both covering their eyes, but D moved while I was getting the camera.Labels: waaz's

yeah, I finally broke down and spent forty bucks at walmart to get REALLY DARK curtains for our bedroom b/c we sleep so often at odd hours and our apt is FULL of sunlight all day long (i'm so sick of the sun-give me some variety people!!). Jim now likes out "batcave" as he calls it. ;)

it's in the single-wide, yeah. (which we've decided is bigger than our first apartment. how funny)
The curtains I bought are great--dark green khaki material with buttons on the loops--but I have to buy another set so they crinkle up more and block more sun. I couldn't find any lined curtains that didn't look like they belonged in a fancy dining room, so doubling up will just have to suffice :)

it was a wedding present from my granny (mom's mom). The center pieces were cut and put together by her mother, so it's got a bit of history. Definitely a favorite =)
