Health Care Proxy/Power of Attorney reminders to the whole family. We never know when they might be needed. Best to have it open in the open, discussed and signed ahead of time. Trust me, it really takes a lot of pressure/guilt/stress off of the ones left behind who have to agonize over the decision if it wasn't talked about/signed off before hand.

Signed, someone who has to deal on a daily basis with the repercussions of people NOT having done this. It should be right there when you go to vote or sign up for a driver's license. Sigh. I wish this were law. Sigh.
