Remodeling done!
The spare room/L's office has sky-blue paint now (L did not like the pink hearts and castles) and a new ceramic tile floor, that L did himself (I helped a little). Plus new shades on the sliding glass doors that we put in last summer.

I second the tiling love. yours is a lot prettier than mine. Tile is a bear to keep clean though, just to warn you!

That paint is much more princely now, too. One more word of advice: try not to drop your coffee cups. I think I average one broken thing every week in the kitchen. drives me crazy!
I take it you haven't heard about AC needing corning ware for presents b/c she shattered all hers on the tiling in her kitchen?? ;)
Uggh, don't get me started. I DO NOT WANT tiling in the kitchen, but have it, and also average one antique platter, Corning ware casserole or whatever per week. I used to go ballistic about it. Now I realize it is useless.
