Amy's Spectacular and Very Clean House

Here are the pictures I took at Amy's home. I'll give a good try at matching pictures with words, but you posters know it's a bit of a crap shoot how it will actually work out. So, if it DOESN'T work, you can figure it out on your own. Consider it a puzzle. READ FROM THE LAST PICTURE FIRST. I was too tired to reverse the order after all the pictures were added.

If I have my directions right, the bedrooms are going to get some nice good morning sun, and the living areas some nice sunsets. Do I have my directions right? Look at those nifty logs holding up the porch and in the roof.

If you've been playing along at home, you'll know which windows are in which rooms. You have been keeping track, right? Sorry about the big shadow. That's going to make for pleasant porch sitting but hard to take a picture in the morning.

From the living Room looking down the hall toward the bedrooms. Neat ceiling up there. Maybe a future loft? Think how interesting that will be for the people in the bathroom. . .

I was trying to stand back as far as I could, to get both porch posts in the picture. But, couldn't quite do it. In any case, this is what you get looking out the front door. Nice deep long porch, great view.

yuppers, tons of potential, and sort of like guard dogs to boot. Nice playroom, or studio, or ?

I couldn't control AA from jumping into this picture of the cellar. This was taken from the bottom of the steps, looking to the right. Tons of room for interesting development down here.

Kitchen: looking from the hall out the kitchen window. I didn't notice how the molding dips in front of the window until I saw the picture. Cool beans. Dishwasher potential to the left of the sink. Amy can look out over an expansive front yard from here.

Similar view but more from the hallway. I think I see a weird ghosty thing in the left middle. Maybe a previous house resident or something.

More of the living room. I should have investigated the started seedlings under the window. AA said no pics of the boxes but good grief, she just is moving in and it is the only sign of a normal human being living there that I could see :)

Living Room: If you're standing in the front yard looking at the house, the LR is on the right. This was taken from the kitchen (see the bit of counter?). The door is the front door. The windows to the left of the couch (AA! Did you misplace your couch??) look over the driveway and are basically over the cellar french doors. The floor is so clean it sort of hurts my eyes.

Kitchen: middle front of the house. Amy cooks in the hall, I guess, based on where the range is (kidding!). I hear the the range has been installed shortly after this pic was taken. Caution sign: bathroom. Fridge: freezer on bottom. (did you find the eggs?) This was actually the first picture I took, and the top picture is the last, so sort of think backwards. Unless that is difficult for you.

"so sort of think backwards. Unless that is difficult for you." You sound just like big B.

LOVE all that wood! I cannot wait to to see it when you're all moved in, a. Your decorating style is great (loved your other house too, was surprised that we have similar tastes!).

and oh the potential with that basement and huge high ceiling. I'm seeing a guest loft on one side, and a reading loft on the other. And man, the view...gush...

WOW! I"m DROOLING! GREAT house, GREAT pics! I don't think the moding dips actually, I think it's just a trick of the eyes b/c of the way the sink and they post under it are, it just looks that way. haven't measured it yet in the picture though...

(when I changed waasup to the new blogger (which, LB, was easy peasy) somehow my name got to be Granny. which is very confusing if you know that we call my mother that. I feel very much like a split personality online.)
